“You want to go where?” asked Milo.
“Sky's End.” said Onyx.
They sat in the galley drinking coffee. Sarge, Kelsey and the rest of the gang sat around them.
“Have you finally flipped, woman?” asked Milo, “Sky's End is the last place in the entire galaxy anyone of us need to be.”
“Maybe so, but that's where the Moonstone is and that's where Anderson will go once the news is out.”
“Moonstone? News? What are you talking about?”
“Easy, son,” said Everet, “let's hear her out. Okay, Onyx, what's going on?”
“The moonstone is at Sky's End. How I know this is nobody's business. Very soon, there will be a rumor going around divulging the location. When Anderson finds out he will go after it. We will be waiting for him.”
Silence.
“Look guys, it's not that hard to follow...”
“It's not that,” said Jake, “but Sky's End, of all places.”
“I know, don't you think I know? But to get that bastard I'll go through the very gates of Hell!”
“You might.” said Jake, “From what I hear of the place, you just might.”

Yset Urlong was tired. He'd been on station for ten hours His guard's uniform was getting smelly and he itched. He was eagerly awaiting his relief. The panel in front of him beeped. He flipped a switch, which turned on a screen next to him. In it he saw a chart of space immedialely surrounding Sky's End. A small blip appeared on the screen.
He flipped another switch.
“Attention, attention, approaching ship. Please identify.”
“Hello, Sky's End, this is supply ship Hekios. Permission to dock?”
“Hey, It's about time! We've been living on hard rations for over a week. Permission granted.”
“Thank you. By the way, we're experiencing some trouble with our drive. Any chance we can get some help with repairs?”
“Sorry, Hekios. The station is totally automated and unmanned. After you drop the supplies, a robot ship brings them planetside.”
“Understood. Can we at least stay docked to complete repairs? We may have to power down and it would help if we could piggy back on the station for awhile.”
“Well, I don't know. That's against protocol.”
“What if we send down something extra? How does ten pounds of Perovian Sugar Peanuts sound?”
“Perovian Sugar Peanuts? Sounds like a deal!”
“Good. Thanks, Sky's End.”
“Hey, the name's Yset. You guys want to make any more deals, talk to me.”
“Sure thing, Yset. My name's Milo. Nice meeting you.”
